About Excessive Underarm Sweating

Procedure

The miraDry procedure is a lasting and non-invasive solution for excessive underarm sweat.
The outpatient procedure is performed in our office and does not involve surgical incisions or cuts. Our staff at Mend customizes treatment for each underarm with multiple placements of the miraDry System. The miraDry System delivers electromagnetic energy non-invasively to the area where the sweat glands reside.  The underarms are numbed prior to the procedure for patient comfort.
Two procedures are typically recommended 3 months apart to maximize the results and duration.  Each procedure appointment generally lasts about an hour.
